Unbelievable Prices on Beautiful #FashionJewelry with @Gofavor

We are pleased to introduce you to GoFavor.com, one of our fabulous sponsors for the Fall Fashionista Giveaway Event, October 14-19, 2011.  Over 130 blogs are participating, each with a prize minimum of $50 to give away.  Don't miss it!

I love fashion jewelry, costume jewelry, whatever jewelry you'd like to call it.  It just speaks to me in some karmic way.  Maybe I love it so much because as a child, my grandmother would buy me the kid's jewelry from the Avon catalog.  If you're old enough, you'll remember the plastic pins with the pots of solid perfume on the back.  I think I had them all.

Recently, I discovered GoFavor.com, an online retailer of fashion jewelry with unbelievable pricing.  Seriously, you can find items as low as 90 cents!  I might have been a little skeptical at first but having been given the opportunity to review some of Go Favor's items, I am sold!  Yes, the quality is not what you'd see at a fine jewelry store but the exceptional value and unique styles available just can't be beat.  If you're like me and like to have many pieces in your jewelry repertoire and you don't wear the same pieces day after day I seriously suggest that you check out Go Favor!

I simply adore the pieces I was sent for review, including my favorite, this fun swallow and cherry blossom necklace.  I have worn it several times and it matches so many of my clothes.  Even though it is inexpensive fashion jewelry, it has not bothered my sensitive skin which can sometimes be a problem.  There have also been no issues with breakage, loose parts or clasps that won't open/close.  Hurrah!  I also love that anything over $15 ships FREE and under $15 is only $2.99 worldwide!  You can't beat that.

So if you love fashion jewelry like me, or perhaps you have a teen (like me too!) who may need some fun jewelry for an upcoming school dance or just because, run over to GoFavor.com and get ready to make your wishlist.  You won't be able to resist!

FTC Disclosure:  We did receive one or more complimentary items to facilitate this review.  No monetary funds were received.  All opinions are honest.

I love the fact that they haven't broken out your skin. I can't wear many things because I have a nickel allergy. My skin is really sensitive as well. I love to find inexpensive jewelry that won't hurt my skin. :)

Endo Review and Giveaway!

We're so excited to introduce you to Endo ! Endo is here for all your outdoor t-shirt needs with incredible graphic designs to wear.  Cyclist?  Camper?  They're here for us all.  Seriously, what's better than a bright yellow tee with a huge tricycle on it?  Yes, a huge yellow real tricycle would be nice but hey, you couldn't wear that and it would undoubtedly be much harder to come by! We were happy to discover that the Endo t-shirt is longer than some which is definitely a bonus.  You know, no risk of the bad "low rise jeans - shorter tee - don't bend over or sit" dilemma.  It's also pretty dang soft and comfy. In addition to this great t-shirt, Endo also sent their logo tote bag.  These kind of backpack tote bags, or "man bags" as all the local teens call them (because all the boys in junior high have them!) are perfect for a light backpack to carry a water bottle, camera, cell phone, snacks, etc., for an impromptu hike, nature walk

Sit-upon Tutorial By Rachel Beyer

As a former Girl Scout, I have lots of fun camp memories. I remember learning to tie knots, set up camp and to cook over the campfire. An essential Girl Scout tradition is making a sit-upon. A sit-upon is a homemade waterproof cushion. They are easy to make and I remember using them every time we did any activity while sitting on the bare ground, which most often was damp or scattered with uncomfortable sticks and pebbles. A sit-upon is great for sitting around the campfire, your backyard, or even a sporting event.  There are lots of ways to make a sit-upon. When I was a Brownie Girl Scout, we made ours from old vinyl tablecloths and foam. But in a pinch, you can use a plastic garbage bag and a stack of old newspapers for padding. To revisit this simple craft project, I decided to use a roll of vintage vinyl wallpaper I found at a thrift store and some foam I bought at my local craft store. Essential Supplies: Waterproof Material (vinyl tablecloth, or other store-bought vinyl or
