@DuelOnJewel Unique #Fashion Jewelry for Every Occasion

We are pleased to introduce you to Duel On Jewel, one of our fabulous sponsors for the Fall Fashionista Giveaway Event, October 14-19, 2011.  Over 130 blogs are participating, each with a prize minimum of $50 to give away.  Don't miss it!

From the Duel On Jewel website, "jewelry is an accessory that helps to enhance your outfit and style". We couldn't agree more. Jewelry is like the icing on the cake, the part of an outfit that pulls it all together in your own unique way. I, myself, have more of a bold style in jewelry and I have a particular love of fashion jewelry. I like big pieces that you won't see anywhere else; Pieces that have a charm and style of their own. If you're unsure of what style of jewelry to wear or what to wear together, Duel On Jewel has a great jewelry tips section to give you direction in your jewelry style.

We were able to review 3 lovely pieces from Duel On Jewel and we weren't disappointed. This 16" glass bead necklace is a stunning shade of green. I particularly like the copper pendant in the bell shape. It is certain to be a focal point necklace.

My favorite of the pieces sent to us for review is this resin bangle bracelet. It has a great copper/gold sheen and is very light weight. I wore it to dinner the other night and it complimented my outfit perfectly. I haven't had such a chunky bangle bracelet in years and I'm glad they are back in style.

We also received these sure-to-impress chandelier earrings with lots of sparkle. What a beautiful way to make a statement on a special outfit! These earrings are a little on the heavy side so I won't be wearing them everyday but they will be a great addition anytime I need to dress up. They certainly sparkle and shine!

Duel On Jewel has very reasonable prices and quick shipping with great customer service. They can help you with any fashion jewelry needs for every occasion. You can also gain insider news on promotions and coupons by following Duel On Jewel on Twitter, Facebook and by signing up for their newsletter too.

FTC Disclosure: We received the above jewelry samples from Duel On Jewel to facilitate this review. Duel on Jewel is also sponsoring the upcoming Fall Fashionista Event. No monetary amount was received for this article and all opinions are those of Artsy Chaos owners and editors.

@FoozKids #FREE for Artsy Chaos Readers!! Kid-Safe Social Networking

I remember when my kids were younger and always begging me to let them create a "My Space" profile. Honestly, I was horrified. With all due respect to My Space, it is not really appropriate for a 10 year old. I'm not an overly protective parent but having my children playing on what I feel is an adult place to hang out is just not my cup of tea. Boy, we used to have some tears over that one!

I wish that FoozKids would have been around then. FoozKids is a kid-safe, parent approved place where kids can email family and friends, watch videos and even do some crafting all in a parent controlled and child appropriate environment. For a low one-time fee of $11.99 (hello, bargain!) for the basic application kids get access to web, video, games, crafts, virtual rooms, email and they get to create their own virtual look-a-like. What a great comfort to be able to let your children email when they want and to whom they want all because you have already approved who they can interact with. There is also a Premium application with the FoozKids University where kids can quiz themselves on math topics with over 22,000 questions for grades pre-K-5. The Premium application also includes FoozKids Flix with both educational and family friendly titles, Treasure Box *coming soon* where kids can learn and earn points to redeem for prizes, and the Mall which is just a fun thing to buy items to personalize your virtual look-a-like. The Premium application is $69.99/year. Another cool perk is that once you have the FoozKids app and ‘Like’ the FoozKids Facebook page, you are eligible to nominate your child as ‘Fooz Kid of the Week’ where their picture is the profile picture for the week! Another feature parents may enjoy is that kids cannot quit the application without a parent password being entered. This ensures that if you don't want your child having internet access and free reign on your computer, that won't happen.

We were impressed with the number of topics included in the application. If your daughter loves Strawberry Shortcake, they've got that! If your son likes Dr. Suess, they've got that! Maybe your kids like to learn new dances, the premium application has videos on that too! FoozKids has activities which will keep the attention of very young children as well as offer things for older school-age children too. My niece, who is 7, had some fun poking around in FoozKids and settled on some activities with Big Time Rush which entertained her for quite a bit. As I was exploring the crafts area (I just can't help myself when it comes to crafting!) I found some cute Strawberry Shortcake Christmas coupons which you can print and assemble; a great gift idea for kids to make.

Thanks to FoozKids, I have been given the OK to share a link with all my readers which will allow you to download the Basic Application ($11.99 Value!) for FREE!! Just use this URL: and get FoozKids for your kids free.

You can also connect with FoozKids on Facebook and Twitter to learn more and get updates!

FTC Disclosure: We received the above mentioned premium product download at no charge to facilitate this review. No monetary amount was received and all opinions are our own.

Proud to Support Pink and Happy Birthday to Me! @FreschettaPizza {#Giveaway}

Today is my birthday and what better way to celebrate than in supporting Breast Cancer Awareness! It just so happens, also, that the month of October is National Breast Cancer awareness month. Plus, I love pink and so it's a match.

Freschetta has teamed up with bloggers to let you know about the Freschetta Proud to Support Pink program. From now until October 31st, Freschetta will donate $1 to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center for every code entered from specially marked pizzas. One dollar may not sound like much but it really does add up - and fast. The specially marked package codes can be entered at until they reach their goal of $50,000.  Freschetta is also donating 50 pink iPods each week in October to 4 cancer treatment centers around the US for patients to enjoy during treatment. My father had cancer and during his treatments, anything to relieve his mind from the pain was a welcome addition.

We love Freschetta pizzas and my new favorite is part of the Simply Inspired line of pizzas. It is the Classic Bruschetta and it is simply amazing I must say. Even my husband, who isn't a big pizza fan, thinks that the Freschetta Classic Bruschetta is good. They certainly have lived up to their motto with real cheese, sauce and tomatoes picked at the peak of ripeness. It is just yummy!

You can learn more about the Freschetta Proud To Support Pink program at and at their Facebook page.  Stop by and chat about what you're doing to make a difference!

Thanks to Freschetta, you can also enter here at Artsy Chaos to win a Proud To Support Pink kit which includes:
  • A coupon for a FREE Freschetta 12 oz. or larger pizza.
  • 2 Pairs of Freschetta Proud To Support Pink earphones.
    • One for you!
    • One to share!
